Relate Bromley
is a non profit-making local charity working to help individuals, couples and families to build better relationships and change things for the better. Through counselling services they help couples withstand the pressures that lead to relationship breakdown and limit the damage that commonly accompanies this.

Relate believes that an individual's physical well being, emotional and mental health benefit from a committed relationship; that children thrive in families where relationships are positive and free from destructive conflict; that expressing clear commitment contributes to a healthy and secure couple relationship. We offer our services to anyone in need of our services, regardless of age, gender, marital status, ethnic origin or sexuality.

Formerly known as the Marriage Guidance Council, we have been providing relationship counselling support in the Bromley area for over 60 years.

Our experienced counsellors will help you to talk through your thoughts and issues and help you to start communicating again, to identify problems and to help you consider the best way forward.

We can help you in all aspects of relationships. At any stage of a relationship, whether you are experiencing problems in your current relationship, coming out of a difficult relationship or having difficulty forming new ones, our counsellors will work with you to develop your confidence and to work through the aspects that you are finding most difficult. We also have specific counselling on offer for couples where the relationship is good but there is a specific sexual difficulty and Family Counselling to assist family members who may be experiencing difficulties in their relationships with one another.

On this site you will be able to find out about the different types of counselling we can provide, what to expect at your first session, how you can help to support us and some general information about your local centres. We hope that you will find many of your questions about counselling answered on this site. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
